Unified Development Code

The Unified Development Code (UDC), which was adopted by City Council on April 3, 2007 and became effective May 4, 2007, contains all procedures, standards and regulations relating to the development of land in the City of Altus. The UDC is one of the main tools used to implement the Comprehensive Plan 2025.

The UDC is periodically amended to reflect changes in federal and state laws and changes in City policy and directions.
